My son plays little league baseball in Monroe & Eaton, Ohio. Being a photographer means that he has been photographed close to 5000 times. One of the things I love about shooting little league shots, is the contrast of youthful innocence, combined with the rugged grit of America's past time. In this shot I was grabbing some shots of the Eaton Little League "Coach Pitch" division that is comprised of 7 & 8 year olds, and caught this little girl taking her turn at the catcher position. It crossed my mind that by the time I had edited this shot and posted it, she was probably playing with her dolls again.

Gee, nothing like the sexist assumption that a little girl has nothing better to do with her time than to be playing with dolls. Not that I am against that by any means, but this little girl could have just as easily been out in the backyard playing football with her brothers, or at karate class at the time you were posting the picture. I'm just sayin'...
