Who is Vincent Rush and why a Blog?

Vincent Rush began his photography career as most people do...the highschool yearbook. Upon graduation he attended the US Naval Photography School in Pensacola Fla. After getting a qualification in basic photography and then later attending their Portrait School, he was assigned to a military operation.

Vincent Rush's experiences included USO photography for Bob Hope, Brooke Shields, Kathy Lee Crosby and Wayne Newton. He also had the opportunity for travel assignments to places such as Beruit, Israel, Africa, Australia, Brazil, Italy, Spain and England.

Upon exiting the Navy in 1984, Vincent opened up a Tanning Salon and Health Club in Oxford,Ohio and began photographing weddings, all as a vehicle to fund his way through college to earn a degree in Marketing Management.

After putting photography on the back burner for several years and selling his original equipment, to focus on building a large and profitable Founders Emerald level business through Amway Global and the LTD team that allowed him to walk from corporate America at the age of 40, he has been able to pursue more of his own true passions such as time with family, travel, sports photography, special event and Cincinnati Reds photography.

In 2008 Vincent Rush had five published pictures and won a Third Place, Consensus Best Award in the Capture Cincinnati Project. He also had a picture of Cincinnati Red's Rookie Jay Bruce on the front cover of November 28th's Cincinnati Business Courier. He has covered Ollie North, John Maxwell, Kenneth Copeland and Chris Gardner, whose life was the basis for the movie "The Pursuit of Happyness".

(The LTD team is comprised of an elite group of Christian business men and women committed to helping families and individuals alike, develop their own individual internet based business teams. Through personal coaching and mentorship as well as an attitude of unlimited servant leadership, LTD is committed to offering a business opportunity and creating an enviorment to help each and every individual with a dream of personal economic freedom, achieve at the highest levels through independant business ownership and self development.)

Vince and his wife of 20 years, Amy along with their two children reside in the Cincinnati region, in Monroe, Ohio.

Vincent Rush frequently is contracted by parents, sports teams, and organizations, throughout the Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio areas, to provide the highest quality sports photography, both on an individual and team basis.

So now, the question...why a blog? Well the first answer is, to learn how to do it. The second is as a promotional and marketing tool to advance my photography throughout the Cincinnati and Dayton Ohio region. Over the past couple of years I have rekindled the passion of photography that was rooted in my younger days and the first Pentax 35mm SLR I recieved for Christmas in 1976. It is one of my dreams to eventually contract to shoot sports photography at the highest levels. In Cincinnati, that would be the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals or a host of college teams.
